Honey Pickled Shallots
Pickled with Sarson’s malt vinegar and honey, based on a recipe dating back over 100 years
Grown by us in Chiang Rai, our crunchy and flavorful shallots are pickled with Sarson’s malt vinegar and sweetened with a little bit of honey instead of sugar. Dried chili and other spices add an extra dimension. Unpasteurized to retain all flavors and nutrients. Eat them sliced with BBQ meat or cheese, or whole with a pint of beer.
This product is 100% natural and unpasteurized, it should be kept refrigerated before and after opening.
Can be kept refrigerated for approximately a year.

BAG CUSTOMERS: Please note that our bags are not meant for long-term storage, we recommend transferring the content to jars or tupperware to prevent the top layer from drying out, which can result in harmful bacteria growth. If you want to keep the product bagged, flip it regularly to make sure the content stays moist. This is especially important with our fermented products.
Bags with kimchi and sauerkraut can in some cases swell up with fermentation gas; if you want to continue storing the product bagged, puncture it with a needle and let the gas out to prevent it from exploding, then use tape to re-seal. As our products are raw/unpasteurized, they continue to slowly release fermentation gas, even after refrigerated.
