Vinegar-free and sugar-free, using all organic ingredients. Our signature gherkins are fermented for up to two weeks with local sea-salt, herbs and a carefully selected spice-mix. This product is not only rich in probiotics, but tastes amazing as well. In the US, these are referred to as “full sours”. In Europe and Russia, they’re commonly known as “grandma’ pickles”. The robust flavor is delicious on its own, with pâté on rye-bread; or try drizzling olive oil over and eat with smoked meats.
Fermentation creates health-beneficial probiotic bacteria, which is very sensitive to heat. To ensure that all probiotics and nutrients survive in the jar, we do not pasteurize any of our products. They should therefore be kept refrigerated before and after opening.
This product is 100% natural, it can be kept refrigerated for approximately 6 months.

BAG CUSTOMERS: Please note that our bags are not meant for long-term storage, we recommend transferring the content to jars or tupperware to prevent the top layer from drying out, which can result in harmful bacteria growth. If you want to keep the product bagged, flip it regularly to make sure the content stays moist. This is especially important with our fermented products.
Bags with kimchi and sauerkraut can in some cases swell up with fermentation gas; if you want to continue storing the product bagged, puncture it with a needle and let the gas out to prevent it from exploding, then use tape to re-seal. As our products are raw/unpasteurized, they continue to slowly release fermentation gas, even after refrigerated.
