Japanese Style Kimchi Fried Pork (Buta Kimchi)

Ingredients

  • 300g Pork very thinly sliced (shabu style)
  • Beansprouts (a standard colander full)
  • Handful of Chives (cut into 5cm pieces)
  • 1 cup of our House Kimchi
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Cooking Sake (mirin)

Equipment

  • Frying pan

In this recipe we use our House Kimchi which can be purchased via our webshop. A variation tip might be to use our Organic Vegan Kimchi

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan at medium heat.
  2. Add pork and fry until browned.
  3. Add beansprouts, kimchi and chives; cook for a minute.
  4. Finally add the soy sauce and sake. Stir, and cook until liquid is almost gone.
  5. Plate and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top if you want, serve with steamed rice.
