Vinegar-free and sugar-free, our signature gherkins are fermented for up to two weeks with local sea-salt, herbs and a carefully selected spice-mix. This product is not only rich in probiotics, but tastes amazing as well. In the US, these are referred to as “full sours”. In Europe and Russia, they’re commonly known as “grandma’ pickles”. The robust flavor is delicious on its own, with pâté on rye-bread; or try drizzling olive oil over and eat with smoked meats.
Fermentation creates health-beneficial probiotic bacteria, which is very sensitive to heat. To ensure that all probiotics and nutrients survive in the jar, we do not pasteurize any of our products. They should therefore be kept refrigerated before and after opening.
This product is 100% natural, it can be kept refrigerated for approximately 6 months.
